Initiatives
EV chargers
Medas Operations Center is equipped with 2 electric vehicle chargers, contributing to the reduction of greenhouse gas emissions.
Solar power plant
Medas Operations Center and the areas near the Covelo and Seixo Alvo tunnels benefit from the installation of 5 state-of-the-art photovoltaic plants with approximately 100 kWp of total installed power, allowing for an annual reduction of 17 tons of CO2 emissions
LED lightning
Replacement of 3.000 conventional lighting with LED, drastically reducing power capacity and energy consumption by approximately 50%.
New toll booths
devices
Automatic payment machines, ticketing devices, Via Verde antennas, vehicle pre-classification systems, information panels and license plate recognition cameras which allows to reduce energy consumption and bring greater convenience to drivers.
